Welcome to my website! I am Rebekah Isert, the reason for all this craziness! If you’re here, you’re either a personal friend, member of my family, or someone who has run into one of my books at one point or another. Welcome to all of you!

Just to introduce myself, my name is Rebekah Isert. That is my real name, and you can find me on Instagram and Facebook. Please feel free to reach out!

In this blog, you’ll probably see a couple of things: Updates, Musings, and Offers. On the very basic level, I’m going to try to update this blog at least once a month with news about how my current works in progress (WIPs) are going, book announcements, and book signing news. Expect to also see some book recommendations from other authors – particularly if I’m excited about it. Less frequently, I’ll publish some thoughts I have about certain subjects, like common tropes, or helpful things that I have found in my own writing process. Also, if there are any sales that I find, or if I hold any sales myself, I’ll announce them on here as well.

Something also to be aware of is that from time to time, I will post some goodies and behind the scenes info about books that I’ve already published (As of December 2021, that’s Wednesday’s Book and Oak and Ivy) and upcoming works in process. Some of these things will be here on the blog, but I am also in the process of building pages for each of these works – and where series are involved, their series as well – so you can see some of the influences that went into them.

Additionally, go ahead and hop over to the Frequently Asked Questions page. I’ve answered a few of my most commonly asked questions – from dinosaurs to writing advice – but I want to flesh things out a bit! Please feel free to ask questions. I’ll respond directly to you, but if I get asked the question enough, I’ll probably put it up there.

Lastly, this is a place where I want to celebrate fiction, both my own and that of the brilliant people in our world. I’m a firm believer in “you are what you eat” (and read, and watch, and listen to) so I want to not only write the best fiction I can, but also share goodness that I find. That’s the kind of world that I want to build and cultivate.

Lastly-lastly, an ENORMOUS shout-out to Kaylyn L. Davis, who not only has done ALL of my artwork for my books, but has helped set up this fantastic website. Many, many thanks, and here’s to many more projects!
