It has come to my attention that I am not good at keeping up on my blog, so I’m just popping on so at the very least it is a proof of life. And work. Lots of work.
First things first, I’ve been writing! I’m continuing work on my Cinderella retelling, and looking at my word counter right now (because the document IS in fact open, haha) we’re at 93,000 words and counting on book one. This is a two-part series, and I’m feeling very excited about it. It IS turning into more of a romance than I thought it would, but I’m okay with that. The hero is very dashing.
I’m also going to be part of an anthology! One of my poems (Ha! I can call myself a poet now) got accepted into the anthology Masquerade, and I’m very excited to be included with that group. Release date is to be determined, but word on the street is in the fall. The Goodreads link is https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/61324623-masquerade. I’m also writing another short story for a different anthology. I don’t know if it’ll be accepted yet, but here’s hoping!
