The Writing Peasant

Why “The Writing Peasant”? 

First and foremost: The word peasant makes me laugh. I don’t know why. And I write. Secondly, one of the things that I like about writing is I get to be a student. I’m constantly learning new ways of expressing myself, or structuring stories, or just things about the world and universe at large that I can sink deep into the fabric of my books. Some of the most glorious storytelling (in my opinion) is through folktales, because of their frankness, honestly, and lack of pretentiousness, while at the same time highlighting the goodness of humanity. I want to tell those stories.

In this blog, I’ll share bits and pieces of my writing journey, but also announcements about upcoming project and sales. I’ll try to update the blog about once a month (it’s in my planner!).
